TUFC would like to thank all our members and sponsors for a successful 2008-09 Annual Banquet. Thank you to Laura Sullivan for bringing Sports Psychologist, Dr. Jodi Yambor, as the guest speaker. Thank you to Florida State Dedman School of Hospitality for providing 4 volunteers to work with our banquet coordinator. A very special Thank You to the Banquet Coordinator, Heather Kidd, for the many hours of work that went into organizing this event for our club. TUFC is proud of the club’s strong showing including numerous champions and finalists at this year’s Rose City Tournament in Thomasville, GA.
Champions included U17 Boys, U16 Boys, U14 Boys, U12 White Boys, U12 Girls and U10 Boys. U9 Boys finished in second place.

TUFC U12 Red - Top Gun Invitational Champions
November 1 - 2, 2008; Pensacola, FL
TUFC U12 Red was undefeated at the Top Gun Invitational defeating Navarre United FC Pythons in the championship game 2-1. They first had to avenge their loss in last year’s final to Gulf Coast United FC Blue by defeating GCUFC 2-1 in this year’s semi-final match.

TUFC U18 Men - HCU Adidas Columbus Day Classic Champions
October 11-12, 2008 Tampa, FL
The Tallahassee United U-18 Men capped off a successful fall season by winning the HCU Adidas Columbus Day Classic over the weekend. The team made it to the championship game by defeating the host HCU 91 Red, 5-1; the Westside Eagles, 2-1; and the 10th ranked Strictly Soccer Select, 2-0. In the title game, TUFC relied on a tough defensive scheme and a late goal to defeat the Indialantic Force, 1-0. The team is 11-1-1 for the fall season.
Members of the team are Josh Bearss, Stephen Eppinger, Eric Frohlich, Pablo Gomez, Michael Hornsby, John McClenny, Jon McVaney, Tyler Molenburg, Nic Parr, Matt Prescott, John Reddick, Austin Rogers, Sam Stockstill, D.J. VanZant, Lucas Williams, Nathan Kenney, Kyle Underwood and Phillip Bradshaw. The team is trained by coaches Alex Minton, Ernie Reddick and Andy Warner.

U16 Boys US Club Soccer National Cup VII Region C Premier Champions
Jacksonville, FL May 24 - 26, 2008
The TUFC U16 Boys team won the Premier Championship in the U. S. Club Soccer National Cup VII Region C Tournament in Jacksonville. As a result, they will be one of only eight teams to compete for the National Championship in July in Virginia Beach, Va.
The TUFC Boys defeated Jacksonville Youth Fury 1-0; Florida Spirit 2-1 and Great Falls Va. Renegades 4-1 to win their bracket and advance to the finals. In the Finals they defeated United Coerver Elite Mako Sharks (FL) 3-1.
The TUFC boys will face off in July against the Division Champions from tournaments in New York, Texas, California, New Jersey, Indiana, North Carolina and Idaho. The National Champion will be crowned on July 29, 2008 in Virginia Beach, Va.
The Boys are coached by Tom Zeuhlke, Thomas Zuehlke, Jr. and Brad Lewis. Director of Coaching is Andy Warner. The team includes Evan Cameron, Kent Deckerhoff, Colin Granger, Henning Haaren, Scott Hastings, Hunter Howell, Jarrod Ingram, Linc Lewis, Adam McCabe, Brendon Santry, Drew Smith, Caesar Vera, Josh Waller and Dylan Whyte.
