The girls are having a lot of fun this Fall, with one tournament under thier belt and big plans for future events.  Check out the new calendar below for info on upcoming events.

The TUFC 00-02 Girls headed back up to Thomasville to play in the Spring Rose City Soccer Challenge.  It was a beautiful weekend for soccer, and the 01-02 (U9) Girls played hard on Saturday and Sunday morning to earn a slot in the Final game. 

Facing a tough opponent (who had defeated them at the Florida State Invitational), these girls fought through to a 5-4 win, and took home the Championship in thier bracket.  Way to go girls!

Coach Joe and Coach Vicky should be very proud of the way both squads played at this tournament, they proved again why TUFC is such a great club!

U9 Girls - Champs!

The TUFC 00-02 Girls had a good tournament, and enjoyed playing near home in Tallahassee.  Both the U9 and the U10 squads played hard and each finished as Runners Up in thier brackets. 

Special congratulations to the TUFC staff for organizing and running a fantastic tournament!

The TUFC 00-02 (U10) Girls took two squads up to Thomasville for the Fall 2010 Rose City Soccer Challenge. 

Each team played four games, and the ’Blue’ squad (consisting of the U10 players) outscored thier opponents 19 to 4, and took 1st Place in the Girls U10 bracket.  With a perfect undefeated tournament, these girls played hard and had a lot of fun.  The ’Red’ squad (consisting of the U9 players) took 2nd Place in the tournament, falling to thier sister team in the Finals.

All the players learned a lot about the sport and had a wonderful time.  Special congratulations to Coach Vicky O’Sullivan and Coach Joe Ferris for bringing home 1st and 2nd Place medals for the tournament.   Your hard work is appreciated.

Next week both U10 Girls teams will be headed to Pensacola, Florida for the Blue Angel Classic.
